About the author

Christopher Schumm, AIA is a licensed architect running his own solo practice in Southern California. He came up through the trades and the drafting table rather than the lecture hall, and stamps his own drawings today.

The Independent Architect Series is written from inside a working firm — not from a classroom, not from an agency, and not from an influencer's studio. Every chapter is a method he actually uses on real projects with real clients, real deadlines, and real risk.
